As 2025 begins, HDM Energies is excited to announce the launch of a new partnership with Leverstock Green Football Club. This collaboration will see the installation of a fully funded 24.5kWp solar array system, complete with a solar battery, provided at zero capital cost to the club. This forward-thinking initiative will enable Leverstock Green FC to significantly reduce electricity bills while establishing a lasting renewable energy legacy.
In partnership with Troo, a leading national energy consultancy, HDM Energies is delivering this project under its innovative Energy for All scheme. The scheme allows businesses and organisations to benefit from rooftop solar solutions without upfront costs. Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Leverstock Green FC will purchase the energy generated on-site at a low, fixed rate, reducing their reliance on the National Grid and cutting overall electricity costs.
Tony Smart, Chairman of Leverstock Green FC, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative:
“Our solar installation from HDM marks the latest stage in our bid to make Leverstock Green a progressive club with a valuable, sustainable future. For HDM Energies to provide this fully funded solution for us gives us a massive boost in our progress toward both fiscal and environmental sustainability. Thank you to David Todd and the rest of the team at HDM Energies.”
David Todd, National Sales Manager at HDM Energies, highlighted the importance of the partnership:
“Working with community concerns like LGFC represents the ideals of HDM Energies. To provide a fully funded solution to this wonderful, progressive club goes toward fulfilling the vision of our owners and investors. We look forward to following the progress of Leverstock Green and wish them all the best after their recent promotion!”
This project reinforces HDM Energies’ commitment to driving accessible renewable energy solutions for organisations across the UK. By empowering clubs like Leverstock Green FC, HDM Energies continues to deliver on its mission of fostering sustainability and energy efficiency for local communities.
