HDM Energies is delighted to announce an exciting partnership with Bracknell Town Football Club, a forward-thinking academy-based organisation committed to securing a sustainable future for both the sport and the planet.
With the support of Troo, a national energy consultancy, HDM Energies is delivering a fully funded solar energy solution as part of its Energy for All scheme. Through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Bracknell Town FC will receive a 70kW solar energy system at no upfront cost. This system will provide a fixed energy rate over a 12-year term, delivering a 50% reduction in supplied energy costs and generating annual savings of approximately £3,000.
The club will also benefit from the installation of EV charging points at zero capital cost. These chargers will serve as a valuable amenity for the local community while creating a new revenue stream to support the club’s operations.
Andy Hunt, Chairman and Owner of Bracknell Town FC, commented:
“As we strive to protect and build the future of our club, partnering with environmental pioneers like HDM Energies is a no-brainer for us. The partnership they have with Mark Boyce from Troo and their passion for renewable energy makes them the perfect choice to help us secure the future of our wonderful club.”
David Todd, National Sales Manager at HDM Energies, added:
“Our fully funded solution will help to preserve the beautiful environment around Bracknell Town FC, including RMAS (CC 923), while ensuring the future of this fantastic community club. The addition of fully funded EV chargers not only provides a community asset but also creates an additional income stream, enabling the club to move towards a sustainable future with enviable clarity.”
HDM Energies’ Energy for All scheme empowers businesses and organisations to adopt rooftop solar solutions without upfront investment. Operating through a PPA, the scheme allows organisations to purchase the energy generated on-site at a low, fixed rate, reducing reliance on the National Grid and cutting emissions. With contracts lasting up to 25 years, the scheme is designed to make sustainability both accessible and impactful.
